David Peck's Session
Rarely in history do we get the opportunity to rethink the entire economic system. The “take-make-waste” way of doing things is coming to an end. We see the strategy of the Netherlands and the EU looking to link energy with materials and in particular critical materials. This is reflected in the NL – EU circular economy plans, in which critical materials feature. This domain will be the focus of my session; I will showcase how the activity of the Netherlands and the EIT Raw Materials EU programme is taking action! The message will be upbeat and positive whilst clearly delineating the challenges.
