The Economics & Business sector is facing new challenges in the areas of sustainability, increasing inequality, social transitions, disruptive technology and well-being. The belief that economists and business scientists play a determining role in the development of solutions to those challenges, was the reason for the Council of Deans Economics and Business to form their joint Impact Agenda. Academic professionals in Economics and Business recognize the intention of the Impact Agenda, and are now looking for their role in it at educational level.
On Tuesday, November 19th, the National Academic Education Day of the Week of the Economics Education takes place. On this day, lecturers, course coordinators and deans of education in the economic field will gather at the Vrije Universiteit in Amsterdam to discuss the future of academic economic education and their role in it.
The program of the day is shaped by the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, Radboud University, Leiden University, Erasmus University Rotterdam, the Impactforum and the Dean's Council of Economics and Business Administration. The day will take place at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam from 13:30 to 17:30.
