We are pleased to announce the 2nd PhD Conference on Product Lifetimes and the Environment, PLATE 2017, which will take place in Delft, on 8 November 2017. PLATE 2017 is the second international conference to address product lifetimes in the context of sustainability.
The PhD event is initiated by the Circular Product Design research group of Delft University of Technology:
"We are exploring Circular Economy from different perspectives and we have regular discussions around the topic. During this morning we would like to invite you to contribute to this ongoing dialogue. It will be an opportunity to discuss our enthusiasm about this new paradigm, but also to address gaps and possibly bring forward points of critique. Most of all it will be a morning to get to know each other and each other’s work."
At the end of the morning there will be a short talk from us: Leiden-Delft-Erasmus Center for Sustainability. We will present our plans for engagement with PhDs through the CE hubs and research activities.
In addition to this morning we invite you for a lunch and you are welcome to attend the first Keynote of the PLATE Conference, which will be from Kirsi Niinimaki. Similar to the lunch, attending this talk is free of charge.
