EVENT ALSO FOR STUDENTS.

On 11 September the webinar 'Zero-Energy Buildings - a Hard Necessity for Climate Action' takes place online.

Why is zero-energy building (ZEB) design more crucial now than ever before? ZEBs bring significant environmental and economic benefits. By reducing greenhouse gas emissions, they play a vital role in mitigating climate change and promoting resource conservation through reducing the energy demand, reusing waste heat, and using renewable energy. ZEBs not only offer long-term cost savings and enhance energy independence but also align with growing regulatory demands and government incentives.

Explore the fundamental concepts of zero-energy buildings in this webinar, focussing on essential design principles and effective validation methods for achieving net zero-energy status. Understand how these innovative buildings can set new standards for sustainability in modern construction. The webinar is an introduction to the Advanced Zero-Energy Design professional education (ProfEd), starting in October.
