Centre for Sustainability to present plans at UNEP-IRP meeting Rotterdam

In a special side event on 4 November, connected to the UNEP International Resources Panel meeting in Rotterdam , the Centre for Sustainability will present its ambitions as a new interuniversity open innovation centre.The Centre for Sustainability received this opportunity from the Dutch Ministry of Infrastructure and the Environment, which hosts this UNEP-IRP meeting.

During the side event, the initiators of the Centre for Sustainability will present their ambitions, such as building a ‘triple helix’ or ‘open innovation’  centre. In addition, several examples from current research practices will be highlighted.

A discussion panel with members of UNEP-IRP and representatives from stakeholders will be invited to reflect on these ambitions and challenges.

The side event, which is targeted at invited stakeholders, will be moderated by Professor Arnold Tukker, chairman of the daily board of the Centre for Sustainability.
