Hey, My name is Alexander and I am thrilled to be a part of LDE Centre for Sustainability Students as the new Secretary. I am currently 26 years old and pursue a Masters in Governance of Sustainability at Leiden University. I have lived in the Hague for about 5 years now but was born and raised in Kenya. I come from a multicultural background (Kenyan, Dutch, Ugandan, Hungarian). During my time on the board I aim to create fun yet informative sustainability themed events using insights from my program.While the climate crisis, biodiversity loss and other sustainability related issues have become increasingly urgent, discussing them can be both confronting and confusing. I hope that through our events we can make tackling these unintuitive challenges more accessible while collectively learning a little more about them along the way.In my free time I like to write amateur poetry, hang out with friends, drink too much coffee and tend to my ever growing collection of houseplants.
