I started my career at Wageningen University, setting up a facility that connects real-life questions from the industry, government and ngo’s to student teams of the university. After 7 inspirational years, I broadened my horizons and worked as a consultant for the government (such as Rijkswaterstaat, Ministry of Social Affairs, province of Gelderland). Since 2020, I’ve been back in the university world, working for the Leiden-Delft-Erasmus alliance.
I love to initiate ‘science-society’ collaborations that make the world a little more beautiful. Examples are the Circular Fashion Lab (WUR), True Potato Seed Hackathon (WUR) and the Interdisciplinary Thesis Labs (LDE). My interest lies in the collaboration between students, researchers, industry, government and society. Our centre stimulates exactly this kind of collaboration, applied to circular challenges in South-Holland.
We are always looking for new ideas and collaborations, feel free to contact me!
