Saskia Ruijsink is the scientific coordinator of the Cities Hub of the Leiden-Delft-Erasmus Centre for Sustainability. It is her ambition to further develop the urban sustainability knowledge and innovation agenda for the hub together with researchers, students and practitioners from different backgrounds. Saskia is passionate about bringing perspectives and stakes together while keeping a focus on the urban justice dimension in urban sustainability. She worked in the urban field for more than 15 years before joining the hub: first as consultant focusing on the Netherlands and later as lecturer, trainer and researcher on integrated urban planning in an international environment at the Institute for Housing and Urban Development Studies at the Erasmus University Rotterdam.
You can get in touch with Saskia to discuss ideas or questions about urban sustainability that can form the basis for inter- and transdisciplinary research and education projects.
